DID: a direct point of contact
Direct Inward Dialing lets an external call reach a business telephone system or configured destination. An Albanian number can give an international company a local contact; a number in another market can help an Albanian business serve customers there. Availability, registration and calling capabilities are country-specific. A DID number does not, by itself, guarantee local-rate outbound calls.
0800: remove the call cost for customers
An 0800 toll-free number in Albania is free for the caller, with the business covering service costs under its agreement. It suits sales, bookings and support. Confirm which networks can reach the number: national toll-free access does not automatically mean free international or roaming access.
0900: a premium-rate service
A 0900 number is for eligible value-added telephone services, with charges paid by the caller. It is not a free support line. The service, caller tariff, network access and commercial terms need to be clear before activation. The AKEP numbering plan distinguishes the 800 and 900 categories; the national dialing prefix is 0.
Plan beyond the number
